Today I want to talk about how I feel when I see my pictures today in the future. Maxi dress, Jeffrey Campbell boots, infinite style belt, or my bangles. I don't think any of these will be great looking sometimes in the future. I agree, I throw away so much stuff just because it is no longer fashionable.
I don't say fashion today is ugly, they are all wonderful! But every time I go back and see my pictures last year or my highschool year, I just want to scream.. why did I wear that!
Oh good thing! Today I just got my super shoes Jeffrey Campbell look-alike, and guess what! Got it for less than $20! Great deal seriously. I know I am a bit late compared to other bloggers, all have had it for a couple of months and I just got it. So what? It still looks good until this point of time! Right?
forever 21 maxi dress -orange vest, forever 21 belt, forever 21 necklace and bangles, Jeffrey Campbell look alike!
Thank you for Chrisselle Lim for teaching the world how to make several types of styles we can do with belt! I applied em like.. rightaway!
Above all, I survive my first week of Junior year! I am glad, even though I shed tears too even during first week for my classes being so tough. But it is weekend. Time to rock styles and studies.. Nope! Relax!
Love,
Catherine Au Jong
Zomg!!! I want that shoes too!
ReplyDeleteWhere do you bought it?
you have such a much reason ... I feel the same when I see my pictures from years ago, and probably I'll feel the same again in the future .... but what tha hell... I love your look, this shoes are ufffffff and the way you did the belt is great...

ReplyDeletethe JC lookalike is fab!!! <3 it
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem with fads. I have quite a few items in the back of my closet that were cool a year ago and just need to go! I don't want to throw them out just yet cause fashion is a cycle and eventually everything with come back into fashion. I've been trying to buy more classics lately so I can get more use out of them, and save myself some embarrassment in the future!
ReplyDeleteYou pull off trendy clothes well girl!
The jc -like shoes are amazing and the dress too!

Love your shoes!
ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, I understand you. The whole point of fashion is that it's fun, strange in a way - so thanks god that it's ain't staying for long :)
Though I believe in long life of pieces, sometimes accessories and different mixes of same old stuff can create a relly actual look :)
Love your outfit

I'm actually very conflicted about Jeffery Campbells. I've seen some people work them wonderfully; other people not as much. I think they're too chunky and impractical for me.
ReplyDeleteLove the look with the maxi dress!
