Fabric Pride and Football Victory

Hello fellow bloggers/ my lovely reader.
Today I feel so happy since I've done my 1st article for my university's newspaper
I hope it will be published, so I can blog about it ;p LOL

yesterday, my sweet roomie invited me to Eid party.
Eid is the time when muslim done with fasting the whole month
My roommate is from Bangladesh
and last summer after she went back from Bangladesh, she granted me
a VERY AWESOME SARI!!

Yesterday was my first time wearing it, and I really love it so much!

I understand why they have this FABRIC PRIDE
their dress is SO AWESOME, comfortable, and PRETTY

The most interesting thing that I figured out that
people in Bangladesh uses this either everyday or
VERY OFTEN

I see how their pride is still there,
unlike my country, it is so hard to find people
wearing kebaya everyday
I guess NO MORE??

Mayeesha's friend helped me wearing it.
Hey wearing sari is NOT a SMALL DEAL
It requires practices and SO HARD
but once you wear it..
your efforts are worth it!

Mayeesha, my roommate from Bangladesh, ME, and Natalie, my roommate from Malaysia
all wearing Bangladesh cultural clothing.

The unique dining I have, really awesome I took 2 plates of
foods yesterday
my roommies <3

Mayeesha warned me not to do those kind of stuff with sari lol.

Sneak a Peak , Fabric Pride fashion:

Anyway, today PANTHERS, my university's team, beat North Dakota State!!
GO PANTHERS!!!

It's too bad though we didn't get to see the game
because we had another important occasion
But it's exciting that Panther won in the first game of this year , Fall 2010
we saw it on TVs, radios
I know that

PANTHERS ROCKIN'!

Have you tried on any cultural clothing before??
I always wish I can mix and match those. :)

love,
